Lets ban all special interest groups, prevent organizations like the Dairy, Egg, Drug or High Fructose Corn syrup companies from sending their slick lobbyists from smoozing the representatives with cash, trips and presents to get their way.
Let's all be required to vote, most people have internet connections, or access through a local library so they can log on and vote for what they want by area. The Representative we select for the one or two year period will be paid a reasonable salary and will sign an agreement not to go to work with any company associated with government project's that they deal with while in office.
Each citizen or legal resident must be required to read each and every bill, the bills should be no longer than ten pages, NO pork, NO hidden or non related issues, no secret meetings, in other words no more business as usual.
The states will send the representatives to Washington with the votes of their people and will vote the majority. No other state can buddy up with another to work the system,
People must pledge to protect our country.
People found guilty of treason must be deported
Prisons must go back to government ownership and the day to day running.
All foriegn aid must stop now, all taxes (I am for the flat tax) must be used to repair our country, and we must take back from the private sector the IRS, the Treasury and all of the other money making groups sold off to the man with the deepest pockets so we can earn money from our own society functions.
Money must be spent on our vetrans, police, fireman, teachers, the seniors, disabled and programs to help the poor start businesses, create jobs and welfare must be limited, better watched and regulated. Food stamps must be made available to people in need. Since the housing collapse, homes must be made easier to get for people.
Stop helping the world, stop the stupid wars or if we do go to war, take all the winnings of the wars. This is just the start... please feel free to add what you like I will add your ideas
